No Easy Being A Leader!

Nothing special bout today~~Can barely wake up this morning...But still I jump out of bed...To attend lecture...Got to know that Group 1 still haven get their tutorial questions yet...And deep shit!!I went out of the hall during PO lecture...To go print the tutorials~~

Well,I knew I wasn't doing my job well enough...And I can hardly ask people to do work...I'm no good at delegating the job out!My BAD!!

Attended student's dialogue today...Not much complaint but sort of made suggestions tho...However,I knew my day has gone bad...Went to see Ms Wong...Stupidest things of all...Told her...DARN~~!!!Why??

And she told me..."Emily,you're pampering your students la!I cannot accomodate with these students! They have to do their parts also!"

Well, its really true that being a LEADER is a no easy job...!I could now feel the pressure...I'm just trying to help my coursemates out...But instead,I'm said to be pampering them?I'm not hoping for any good in return...But I was trying to give my coursemates the best solution to the problems...Is that wrong??

Am I really pampering them??Is it wrong to actually be helpful??I've ever thought of giving up being a Course Rep...!But I've always remembered what April said,"If you quit now,no matter how successful you are in future...You still lose to the one thing that you QUIT!"

April's right.
"Winners don't quit, quitters don't win..."

And it's not wrong when all you've wanted to do was help.

However, if it gets out of hand, you could be doing more harm than good.

Even God would only help those who help themselves.
So, if the people around us could not even bring it upon themselves to do something, why should we go all out to help them.

We're certainly not God.

And being a Leader also means knowing when to let your team learn something the hard way.

Coz in the end of the day, as Leaders, we succeed by creating more Leaders.

There's no glory of leading a bunch of morons to short-lived victory...
